My name is Tim Ponticello and my goal is to help you get stronger and build muscle through bodyweight training / calisthenics.
Before I got into bodyweight training, I trained at the gym for years. I never achieved the results I wanted, and suffered countless injuries.
Once I made the switch to bodyweight training all of my nagging injuries went away, I put on weight, and never felt stronger. All of a sudden daily activities became easier.
Although I still have a long way to go, I created this blog to help others get started with bodyweight training.
Whether you come from a weightlifting background or never worked out a day in your life, I am confident this blog will help you achieve your goals.
Below is a picture of me in my college years (late 2000’s) alongside a more recent picture after I began calisthenics.
As you can see, I put on a decent amount of weight and muscle. I went from 140 lbs to 160 lbs. Gaining weight has always been tough for me, so this was a major accomplishment.
